City of Kannapolis earns national recognition for communications and promoting endeavours

KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (WBTV) – The City of Kannapolis has been identified with two countrywide SAVVY Awards for its communications and promoting initiatives by 3CMA. 3CMA, The Metropolis-County Communications and Promoting Affiliation, is the nation’s best specialist team for government conversation and internet marketing industry experts.

The Savvy Awards, acknowledges remarkable community federal government achievements in communications, general public-sector marketing and advertising, and citizen-government relationships. According to a news release, the Town of Kannapolis received two Awards of Excellence, competing with metropolitan areas across the country with populations of 85,000 and less than. The City’s Downtown Parking Initiative won in the group of Communications or Marketing Plans and the City’s Economic Growth Video gained in the category of Marketing Video clip.

The Downtown Parking Initiative was honored for the plan executed to share details pertaining to the new VIDA Parking Deck. When the Town opened its downtown parking deck employees had the option to launch the communications and signage about the deck to the community, nearby companies, and apartment citizens. The deck is one of a kind in that it is shared with the City’s initial downtown apartment sophisticated and the public. Strategic conversation resources were provided to the community and business house owners which includes signage, a new webpage, permit cling tags, parking maps, informational flyers and ads, and printed parking citations.

The Economic Enhancement video clip was developed to demonstrate Kannapolis’ small business-welcoming climate, unique amenities, desirable site, and proficient workforce. The online video featured Gordon Foods Company and why they selected to identify in Kannapolis. The video clip is being applied in a nationwide campaign to appeal to enterprises of all measurements to Kannapolis.

Throughout the conference Annette Privette Keller, Director of Communications for the City of Kannapolis, was elected to provide as vice-president of 3CMA. She is an active member of 3CMA previously serving as secretary, treasurer, and meeting co-chair. She has been with the City of Kannapolis for 8 years and prior to that worked for other cities and college districts in North Carolina. Annette has received many national and point out awards for her get the job done in governing administration branding, communications, and internet marketing.

She is the co-founder and former president of the N.C. City and County Communicators, a team committed to the professional development and networking of regional governmental communications specialists in North Carolina.
